Our mission is to provide an opportunity for the youth of America to bring lasting change and prosperity to the youth of Africa through providing long-term solutions to the challenges that face Africa. Currently our main focus is in the education sector. To implement our mission and to achieve our vision, we have adopted an approach where we work as partners with the people of Africa to provide sustainable home-grown solutions. Through our current partnership with three schools in Kenya, we are funding various programs to improve the quality of education. As the Chinese proverb states, “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” To achieve our ultimate hope and dream of empowering the whole continent of Africa, we need to start somewhere. We have made our first step,  working in Kenya with two primary schools and one high school.   From a speech to a high school club to a non-profit organization helping hundreds of students achieve their dreams; read the story of how a 16 year old student started Hope 4 Africa. Managing and overseeing a non-profit organization is not an easy task, but with the help and support of the right people it can be done. Behind every organization there are dedicated individuals working behind the scenes to make it all happen. The same goes for Hope 4 Africa, but instead of having a paid staff, we have a team of young, passionate students who are eager to make a difference.
