Jeffery Johnson
Jeff is the current President and CEO of the Alumni Association since 1999. He has more than 25 years of higher education experience. Jeff oversees all Alumni Association programs, is secretary to the Stanton Memorial Carillon Foundation, publisher of all Alumni Association publications, an ex-officio member and officer to the Alumni Association Board of Directors, a member of the President’s Cabinet, and the Alumni Association’s liaison to the university and its affiliate organizations. “I work for a not-for-profit organization, and I believe in the causes Hope 4 Africa seeks to support. Furthermore, one cannot help but get behind Mr. Bomett and his passion for his homeland and its people”

Jon Fleming
Jon works for the Ames McFarland Clinic as a gastroenterologist. He earned his M.D. from the University of Iowa in 1979. Outside of his work he has served on several Iowa State organizations such as the ISU Alumni Association Board of Directors—of which he served as chair, the Partnership for Prominence national campaign committee, the Campaign Iowa State: With Pride and Purpose national campaign athletics department subcommittee, and the Parks Library Foundation committee, Jon has also been extensively involved with the boards of the United Way of Story County, the Iowa Jewish Life Center, the Mary Greeley Medical Center Foundation, and Hope 4 Africa.

Julie Larson
Julie works for the ISU Alumni Association as the Director of Outreach and Events. She joined the staff in 1984. She oversees seven staff members in the outreach and events area. Early in her career, Julie worked for the Ames-ISU YMCA. She has over 30 years of work experience with non-profits. In her tenure Julie has supervised numerous employees, overseen multiple budgets and works with many volunteers. Julie also served as a volunteer on church committees, booster club, Daycare Board, Ames Community facilities committee, Ames Chamber of Commerce Committee, and most recently Hope 4 Africa. Julie graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a B.S in Recreation and received a M.S in High Education from Iowa State University.
