While in Kenya in July 2009, Moses visited various local schools in search of ways to help improve their quality of education. One major issue that was clearly evident was the lack of sufficient textbooks and library books. . To solve this problem we embarked on a three phase plan to provide sufficient textbooks, library books and supplies for our partner schools in Kenya. The schools currently benefiting from this program are Ogilgei Primary School, Kirobon Primary School and Boror High School.
The idea was simple, we wanted to provide our partner schools with sufficient textbooks and library books for a quality education. We are conducted various fundraisers, and in the summer of 2010 we sent a team to Kenya to witness the completion of the program.
$7,500 for 1774 textbooks and library books, notebooks, other study materials, and, as a bonus, sports equipment for the kids.
