"Long-Term Solutions for Problems in Africa"

Our friend, and head teacher of Ogilgei Primary School, Mr. Songol quoted Aristotle to us in his proposal of this program, saying, “Music is man’s sweetest joy”. It is undeniable, and widely recognized, that music is one of the most important cultural aspects of society; what sometimes goes unnoticed is the immense effect it can have on students’ enjoyment of and success in school. In America, students are often given the opportunity to cultivate musical talents through classes and extracurricular programs; this kind of program is something that could make a huge difference in the lives of Ogilgei Primary School students. For this reason, we have decided to create the Music 4 Hope program. Hope 4 Africa will raise funds to provide instruments, accessories, and assorted items required to set the foundation for a music program at Ogilgei Primary School. This includes keyboards, guitars, drums, African instruments, cables, an amplifier, chairs, and so on (we will have the full financial breakdown posted soon). With the infrastructure in place, Ogilgei will then formulate the course, recruit trainers, and finish implementing the program. Total cost – $5,800 There are no program updates at this time, please check back later. There are no photos and videos for this program at this time, please check back later.
